  WHAT HAPPENED?

  United are determined to stage a comeback after a disastrous 2024-25 campaign, where they finished 15th in the Premier League and lost the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur. The Red Devils have started the squad rebuilding process and already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves.

  The now reports that United are planning to complete at least seven more transfers, including incomings and outgoings, before the summer window closes, and are lining up moves for more forwards. The club have been linked with a move for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, while Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike could also head to Old Trafford.

  United will also aim to get rid of some of their present squad members to fund new transfers. Players like Marcus Rashford, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho no longer fit into Amorim's plans and will be sold if they receive the right offers.
